What makes the Clinton Jets 10U team truly special is the unmatched chemistry between Coach CT, Coach E, and Coach V. Their bond goes back to their high school days, where they played basketball together and built a foundation of trust and respect. Now, as coaches, they bring that same synergy to the sidelines. Each coach offers a unique perspective, and together they study the game meticulously, bouncing ideas off one another and refining strategies in real-time. This dynamic not only sets the tone for the team but also models the power of unity and collaboration for their young players.

The Good Counsel Women’s Basketball team brought the energy to their media day. With music blasting and the atmosphere buzzing, the players showed off their personalities and, more importantly, the strong bond they share. From cheering each other on to supporting their teammates in front of the camera, it’s clear this team’s chemistry goes beyond just basketball. Their confidence and connection truly shine through in every shot.

Week 8 at Sidwell Friends marked the final chapter of this journey, and the energy in the gym was undeniable. With an open tryout, the floor was packed with young players eager to showcase everything they’d gained over the past seven weeks. The day started with an intense warm-up - sprints, push-ups, bear crawls, pushing them to give it their all right from the start.

Then it was onto the 3 man weave and a full 5 on 5 scrimmage, with teams rotating in and out. Every player left it on the court, and watching them dig deep was bittersweet, seeing how far they've come.

Week 7 at Severn School was all about defense. From intense shell drills to full-court games using the 5-out offense, the players were pushed to their limits as they prepared for next week's official Team Takeover tryouts. With Severn Coach Michael Glasby offering insights and encouragement, it was a powerful session that showed just how much these young athletes have grown. Week 6 at Landon School brought out the focus and fire, with Coach Kyle pushing the team to master the 5-Out offense. Each cut, read, and signal demanded precision, as the athletes worked to nail down the timing and instincts that make the difference.

This week at Sidwell Friends School, Coach Kyle pushed the team’s defensive discipline and offensive precision to the next level. With limited dribbles in the 5-0 offense, the players had to rely on quick decision-making and trust in each other, all while sharpening their defensive intensity. It’s the kind of hard work that builds high-IQ athletes and stronger team chemistry.

This week at Team Takeover was all about intensity and accountability as players focused on mastering TTO's read and react offense, pass and cut, and 5-out motion offense at Bishop McNamara High School. Coach Ron brought his no-nonsense approach, pushing the boys to elevate their game. Despite the learning curve, the effort and hustle were evident.
