The Start of PGC

Welcome to PGC Sports Club! I’m super excited to finally launch PGCSC. This moment has been a long time coming, and I can’t wait to share the stories of athletes around the DMV.

Growing up in Clinton, MD, sports were everything for me. My dad was my biggest inspiration. Watching him play basketball with the Army, I didn’t just want to be like Jordan; I wanted to be like my dad. He had this raw talent for every sport he touched. Whether it was helping me with my batting swing in baseball or dragging me along on those long runs, he instilled in me a love for competition and perseverance.

Now that I’m a dad myself, it’s amazing to see my kids get into sports. My 6-year-old daughter has this killer swing in baseball and is loving soccer, while my 10-year-old son has found his passion for basketball. I’m all in during their practices, working alongside them to help them improve. I like to think of myself as their first coach, encouraging them to embrace the spirit of competition my dad shared with me.

With PGC Sports Club, I want to inspire the youth by sharing real stories that highlight local athletes' journeys. Storytelling is getting lost in today’s world of quick highlight reels, but the true essence of sports lies in the grind, the setbacks, and the growth. I want this platform to be a space that celebrates not just the wins but the journey itself—where passion meets purpose, and every story inspires the next.
